Capturing Motion

Capturing Motion

At the most basic level, photography captures still images of the world around us. Yet many of the best photographs are not static: instead, they use motion techniques to communicate a sense of speed, activity, and the passage of time.

In this 2 hour class I will discuss the types of motion used in photography, along with specific techniques, tricks, and skill building to help you on your way to creating fantastic photographs.

We will discuss slow shutter speeds, panning, freezing motion, and much more. You will learn some very simple methods that will immediately improve your skills as a photographer.
