Introduction to Photography
This is a great introductory photography class for those fairly new to photography, as well as those who’ve been shooting a while, but want to get off the automatic modes. This is also a great refresher class if you haven’t picked up a camera in a while and want a few reminders of how it all works.
This 3 hour class is a photography walk through that will have you weaned off of Auto mode, and transforming your everyday snapshots into professional-looking photographs. All skill levels welcome! This class is designed to give you a solid understanding of the fundamental basics of photography, to set you on the path to understanding your camera and how to use it to capture the photographs you imagine. I will be your instructor to provide advice, feedback and tips on how to improve your photos and camera skills, always emphasizing your creativity and allowing you to produce images with your own personal identity

This class is designed to give you a solid understanding of the fundamental basics of photography, to set you on the path to understanding your camera and how to create great photographs, always emphasising your creativity and allowing you to produce images with your own personal identity.
I enjoy working with my students, help them develop their skills in photography so that they can capture the photographs they envision. I use my own method of teaching so my students are able to learn, practice, and understand the many aspects of photography.

Laminated Cards
Most classes*, every meet-up, I hand out a laminated field card full of information from the class or meet-up's lesson. These cards are perfect to carry in your camera bag for quick reference in the field or at your shoot. Cards can also be attached with a carabiner to your bag with supplied cable.
Field cards can be collected, and are color coded for each lesson.
Field cards can be purchased individually without attending class for $5 per card, 6 for $25, Full Sets also available.
*Laminated cards are not handed out for critique classes.
